\What makes a house a home? It's the things that reflect the uniqueness of those that live there, the things that are treasured, the things that give comfort, the things that create memories.
Gingerbread cookies have always been a favorite in my house... especially around Valentine's Day. The wonderful smell when they're baking, the delightful spicy flavor with just a hint of sweetness, and the joy that comes from knowing they are treasured, bring comfort, and create memories are all a part of what makes my house a home.
